Special service for Ash Wednesday

All are welcome to join the Ministry Team on Fridays for the Office of Morning Prayer.
Morning Prayer on weekdays is from the Church of England publication “Common Worship – Daily Prayer”. We have copies of the printed book in church, but people with smartphones generally use the Daily Prayer app which provides the prayers and readings for each day. When there’s a fifth Sunday in the month we come together as a benefice and hold one service, either at St Bartholomew’s or at St Lawrence. But this year, Mothering Sunday falls on the fifth Sunday of March. So we’re having our usual special Mothering Sunday services on the 30th and treating the 23rd as if it was the fifth Sunday. This time it’s St Bartholomew’s turn to host the benefice service.
