Getting here
St. Mary's has stood in the village of Winchfield for more than 800 years. Dating from about 1150 it was originally built by the monks of Chertsey Abbey. Many of the original Norman features remain to this day including the “treasure” of St. Mary's – its wonderful Norman Chancel Arch.
