Palm Sunday 2 April 9.30am Palm Sunday Walk starting from Silchester Village Hall to the Roman Amphitheatre with Bobby the donkey. Dramatic telling of the story on the way concluding with a brief service of Holy Communion at about 10.30am am in the Amphitheatre (in the church if wet) followed by hot cross buns and refreshments in the church. All welcome including dogs.

St. Mary the Virgin Church, commonly known as Silchester Church, is situated in the village of Silchester in Hampshire, United Kingdom. Silchester itself is renowned for its Roman ruins and rich archaeological heritage and the church stands as a testament to the long history of this area.
