Occurring
for 1 hour
Venue Address
Church Lane, Grateley Andover, SP11 8JZ, United Kingdom
The service will be quiet and reflective. There will be space for songs but no organ music. The songs will be very simple, and we will sing them seated. There is space for prayer, Psalms and a reading from the Bible but no sermon or talk. There will also be anointing, laying on of hands and a listening ear if you wish it. There will be candles, a map of the world so people can pray for a region they wish to focus on, space for writing your own thoughts which can then inform our Ministry Team prayers over the next weeks and a collective time of praying for wholeness, healing, and reconciliation.

Safeguarding

"Our parish of Over Wallop: St Peter is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Winchester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor, Natasha at [email protected] If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
