About Us

A living church in the village of Holybourne, services every week, popular for weddings and baptisms. Well maintained church gardens and graves, spire, bell tower with 8 new bells installed Oct 2009, original 3 bells remain, dated back to 10th Century. Sited beside pond, or "bourne", observed as resting place on Pilgrims Way from Winchester to Canterbury, hence Holy Bourne.

Holy Rood is part of The Parish of the Resurrection, Alton. There are four Anglican Churches in this parish. We are in Covenant with Alton Methodist Church as the Greater Alton Project (GAP)
