We would like to invite you to join us for this year’s weekly Advent Course, ‘Looking and Longing’, a course to rekindle the spirit of Advent. Over 7 sessions, we will look at characters from the Old and New Testaments to engage with and prepare for Advent and celebrate the eternal coming of God to us and to the world. The course is meditative and reflective, with pause for thought and prayer in which we might silently bring our hopes and longings to God. Session 1, entitled Hiding and Seeking, will take place on Tuesday 22nd October at 7:30pm in the Church Hall. All are welcome.

This is a fun, family-friendly and engaging way to hear the Christmas story told through using a Christingle, which we will learn about in the service. An informal, relaxed service with some great Christmas music with the opportunity to remember the ‘reason for the season’. It's always a special moment when the lights are dimmed and we look around at the faces of the children, filled with awe and wonder - and when we see the same look on adults' faces too! All are welcome.

An opportunity for adults to pause for thought on the eve of Christmas as we gather around the Lord’s Table as Christmas day breaks through and share the peace with one another. We bring the hopes and fears of the year before God and gather to receive Communion or a blessing. We are delighted that Ken Sharpe will be joining us to play the organ.

A shorter celebration of Holy Communion for Christmas Day. There will be an opportunity for people to “bring and tell”, bringing a Christmas present to talk about as part of the service, all finishing in time to get back home to enjoy family festivities and Christmas dinner.
