Friends Of St Botolph’s

We had a lovely meeting in September, we had a special day as it was Mary Hodgson’s 90th Birthday. We had cake and presented Mary with some beautiful flowers and Mary received lots of cards.

Mary keeps very busy by knitting lovely garment, gorgeous baking, makes cards and many other crafty things.

Later in the month we went to the Fig and Olive in Womersley for lunch. We were given and warn welcome and the food was delicious.

Martin House Hospice

We received a lovely letter from Ann, thanking all the ladies who knitted garments for the sale for Martin House.

Every so often she holds a sale of work for Martin House, this month they raised £1000 The money will go to the Hospice as there are different needs to be considered for each individual child who enters the Hospice.

Well done ladies.
