Lent
During Lent this year, we will be exploring the topic of unanswered prayer—something that I’m sure every Christian has wrestled with and continues to wrestle with in one way or another. There are a couple of ways you can join in with this: (1) Buy and read Pete Greig’s book, God on Mute; and (2) Join us on Wednesday evenings at 7.30pm in the church from 1st March to 29th March to take part in The Prayer Course 2: Unanswered Prayer — if you’re part of a cell group, we encourage you to meet together here instead and make this your Lent focus. The course is based on the book, so even better still: do both if you can! But if you can’t get hold of the book, don’t worry because the course will cover a lot of the same ground.
