The Word Made Fresh

The Prologue to John’s Gospel (John 1:1-18) is a passage we often hear at Christmas. It is a beautiful, poetic account of the meaning and significance of Jesus’ birth. Therefore, week by week throughout the season of Advent, we are going to explore this rich passage of Scripture in order to more fully unwrap the present that is Jesus’ incarnation.

1st December: Advent 1: The Word of God: John 1:1-2

8th December: Advent 2: Creator, Light and Life: John 1:3-5

15th December: Advent 3: The Light Giver: John 1:6-13

22nd December: Advent 4: The Invisible Made Visible: John 1:14-18

29th December: The Lamb of God: John 1:19-34
