Easter Day Holy Communion

St Paul's Church Kirkgate Hanging Heaton Batley, WF12 7EN, United Kingdom

On Easter Day, we celebrate Jesus rising again. The Bible teaches that on the third day, Mary Magdalene and other women came to the tomb where Jesus had been buried, and saw that it was empty. He had risen again. For us, this is the most important part of our faith: we worship a Saviour who died for us and is now living again, so that everyone who believes in him has hope of eternal life with God.

St Paul

We are a family friendly church in Hanging Heaton, part of the United Benefice of Batley (UBOB). All are welcome at our services; and we welcome applications for weddings, baptisms etc.

Safeguarding Statement: The parish of Hanging Heaton: St Paul is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Leeds’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
