Occurring
Every First, Second, Third Sunday at for 1 hour
Venue Address
Church Street Woolley Wakefield WF4 2JU, WF4 2JU, United Kingdom
The Eucharist is celebrated by the whole people of God gathered for worship. The ministry of the members of the congregation is expressed through their active participation together in the words and actions of the service, but also by some of them reading the Scripture passages, leading the prayers of intercession, and, if authorized, assisting with the distribution of communion.

All are welcome to attend this service, if you are Confirmed to receive Communion, if not you can always receive a blessing from the priest. Alternatively you may just want to be still in the presence of God.

Please note on the fourth Sunday of every month the service is held at 5.00pm.

"The parish of Woolley: St Peter is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Leeds’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."
