Eucharist - Combined Service

Occuring
for 1 hour, 15 mins
Venue
St Peter's Woolley
Address
St Peter's Woolley, Church Street Woolley, WF4 2JU, United Kingdom

Within the benefice when there is a 5th Sunday in a month we have a combined Eucharist with all our congregation. The location moves between the churches and for that Sunday also the time changes.

The Eucharist is celebrated by the whole people of God gathered for worship. The ministry of the members of the congregation is expressed through their active participation together in the words and actions of the service, but also by some of them reading the Scripture passages, leading the prayers of intercession, and, if authorized, assisting with the distribution of communion.

All are welcome to attend this service, if you are Confirmed to receive Communion, if not you can always receive a blessing from the priest. Alternatively you may just want to be still in the presence of God.

St James the Great

"The parish of Chapelthorpe: St James is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Leeds’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."
