NEW ELECTORAL ROLL 2025 FOR St. PAUL’S CHURCH, BIRKENSHAW Every 6 years a new electoral roll is prepared, and this notice is by way of an invitation for you to apply for enrolment onto the Church Electoral Roll provided you are able to answer one of the three questions on the application form. All current members on the Electoral Roll need to reapply as membership is not automatically carried forward. Application forms are available in church, or you can telephone either: - 01274 879027 or 07985565164 and I will ensure that one is delivered. Once you are included on the Roll, you would be eligible to vote and elect at the annual Parochial Church Council Meeting and to take on additional roles within the church if you wish. Here is a flavour of the many regular activities that take place at St Pauls:The St Pauls Walking group meets every Tuesday at 10am outside Birkenshaw Community Hall - we enjoy a lovely walk with a cuppa at the end of it - you would be made most welcome.WeeklyCall In at St Pauls Church - 10am to 11.30am every Tuesday - Tea Coffee and Biscuits for all. Spen Valley Flower Group - meets in St Pauls Church on the 4th Wednesday of every month at 7.30pm - if you are interested in flower arranging and want to find out more - do come and see what goes on - there is no obligation to join.The Hub (Breakfast Club) - Saturdays - See our Facebook page for details of when this event takes place - bacon and sausage butties, toasted tea cakes and crumpets all washed down with a cup of tea or coffee. Children can enjoy juice and biscuits.We are a thriving church and welcome all who would wish to take part in any of the above events and activities.
