St John the Evangelist Church Carlton

St. John the Evangelist is the Church of England parish church for Carlton, Barnsley. We worship together on Sundays to deepen our relationship with Jesus Christ, hear his word preached from the Bible, and receive him through the offering of the Mass. Our mission is to proclaim the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, according to the doctrines and practices of the Catholic faith as received by the Church of England, both through the word and our deeds to love the Lord our God, to love our neighbours and love each other in our fellowship. We are committed to enabling as many people as possible to worship at our church and our services aim to put faith into practice through prayer and scripture, music and sacrament.
