Baptisms, Christenings, Thanksgiving for a Birth

We would be delighted to hear from you to plan a celebration in Church for a Baptism of your child or for yourself. A Baptism, also known as a Christening, is when we give thanks to God for our lives and, with Godparents or Sponsors, promise to bring our children up as best as we can within the Christian Faith. An adult who is Baptised is choosing to accept the Christian Faith and to live according to the teaching of Jesus. A service of Thanksgiving for the Birth of a Child is a bit like a naming ceremony but includes prayers for the child and family - it does not require a Christian faith. Please be in touch! At the moment, during the Covid pandemic, only 30 people are allowed to attend.
