About Us

St Mary's, in the Town Centre of Barnsley, is a beautiful church.  Everyone is always welcome to visit when the church is open, to attend Mass or to contact us to arrange special family or personal events - or if you would like a conversation with a priest.  Our sister church is St Paul's Old Town, but we are also joined with St George's York Street, St Edward's Kingstone and St Thomas' Gawber as the Benefice of Central Barnsley.
