St Michael the Archangel
St Michael's Church can be seen for miles. It is a place where for hundreds of years generations of Emley people have worshipped God - and still do today. St. Michael’s is part of a larger family of churches : 1 of over 10,000 Church of England parishes nationally, 1 of 656 Anglican churches in the Diocese of Leeds, St Michael's is a very warm and welcoming Church community. We are a family of Christians learning about God together, a forward-looking Church, seeking to be creative in worship, welcoming and outward-looking in mission and service. We are committed to praying for the community of Emley and for the wider world.

St James the Great, Flockton
A very friendly and welcoming parish church, St. James' stands at the heart of the village of Flockton on the A637 Barnsley Road, half way between Huddersfield and Wakefield in West Yorkshire.
Despite the many and changes that have occurred over the years, Flockton Church continues to seek to be outward reaching in its mission and service.
We are committed to praying for the community of Flockton and the wider world. We hope that everyone in the village, as well as visitors, will find themselves at home and part of the community in their church.
Why not come and join us on a Sunday? Everyone is very welcome and we would welcome the opportunity to get to know our community further.
