Have you ever thought about signing up for ‘Gift Aid’?

Maybe you don’t know what it is.

Gift Aid is a Government initiative whereby charities and other organisations can claim on donations made by tax-payers.

For every £1.00 given we can claim 22p back.

Many people involved with St. Bartholomew’s, St. James, St. Mary’s and Christ Church have signed up for ‘Gift Aid’.

In 2009 we received back for St. Bartholomew’s alone the amazing amount of £2,300.

We would ask all tax-payers to consider signing up for this scheme, all it takes is your signature and postcode.

The Treasurer in your church will be able to give you more information.
