The Order for Morning Prayer includes:
* Scripture Sentences: A selection of biblical passages, usually from the Psalms or Prophets, read aloud by the Minister.
* Prayers: A series of prayers, including: The Apostles’ Creed, a statement of Christian faith.
* Three Collects (prayers):
The First Collect is a general prayer for the day.
The Second Collect is for peace and protection.
The Third Collect is for guidance and righteousness.
* A Prayer of Saint Chrysostom: A prayer asking for God’s guidance and blessing for the day’s activities.
* Benediction: A closing blessing
