Services: Sundays at 9.15am (except when 5th Sunday of the month) Parish Eucharist and <span style="font-size: 1rem;">Wednesdays at 10am (said Holy Communion).</span>
3rd Saturday every month church is open for viewing as well as our regular Coffee Morning.

Welcome to the Church of England United Benefice of St. John the Evangelist, Birkby and Christ Church, Woodhouse, Huddersfield. You can find us on St. John’s Road, at the Junction with St. John’s Crescent, just off the Huddersfield ring road.
We are a small, friendly community that struggle to maintain a beautiful listed Butterfield Church in need of much tender love and care. We do this primarily as a worshiping community whose life is centred around the Parish Eucharist on Sunday morning. We try to follow a way of life based on the example and teaching of Jesus, bearing witness within the community by our involvement, life and worship. We extend a warm welcome to everyone.
