About Us
St Cuthbert’s Church is a large multi- purpose building, founded in 1913. In recent years it has been re-ordered to provide a modern, flexible building with facilities for worship and community events. As well as regular Sunday services the Church plays host to social and fundraising events throughout the year, and is home to a wide range of community groups including a well established playgroup.
We are a multi-cultural, family church catering for all people of all ages. Our worship varies from traditional to contemporary and includes music drawn from many sources but with a strong Celtic influence. Services are held in English and in Urdu.
We meet for worship at 11am every Sunday morning
Since November 2008 St Cuthberts has been part of a United Benefice with St Philip the Apostle in nearby Birchencliffe.
