St Peter’s Church Walsden

Welcome

St. Peter’s has a friendly congregation with a family feel. We provide a heartfelt welcome to everyone.  We meet for our weekly service at 9.30am on Sundays, with a variety of less formal worship styles. We welcome families  of 1 or many more into our fellowship.

The weekly Monday play group is also at 9.30am (during term-time) and welcomes babies, toddlers and carers.

We also hold Messy Church at 2.30pm on the 2nd Sunday of each month. Volunteers are also welcome; just contact us to ask for more details.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Walsden: St Peter is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Leeds’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO Lynn Stansfield or Rev Catherine ([email protected]) or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor Team email: [email protected]; Tel: 0113 353 0257.
