Our Building
Weekdays 10-4pm

We are a Grade 2* listed building and a rare example of 2 historic buildings on one site.
Burials in our churchyard include Sylvia Plath (Author) and David Hartley who was ‘King’ of the coiners.
The ruins of St a Thomas a Beckett lie behind the Main Street of the historic village of Heptonstall and like alongside the church of St a thomas the Apostle.
Features include carved angels, gargoyles and a ring of 8 bells, as well as a beautiful open worship space with great acoustics.
We have signed up to Eco church and are on the journey.
Music and Worship
We have a ring of 8 bells which in normal times are rung most Sundays with bell practice on Tuesday evenings. Currently bells are rung twice a month by George Campling and his team.
We host regular concerts including the annual Pennine Spring Music festival.
