From it's early beginings down by the river, to the building it is today, The Parish of Sowerby Bridge has been served by the old brig chaple till 1821 when it moved to its more prominant place in the indurstral town. Come and find out a little more on the history of Christ Church.

The illustrated talk is on Saturday March 25th starting at 5pm followed by a pie and pea supper. Tickets are £5:00 pe person, and can be purchased on line at bit.ly/CCSBHistory2023 or in person by calling into church on a Tuesday or Saturday morning, between 10am and 12noon.

Christ Church is the Parish Church of Sowerby Bridge in the Diocese Leeds. It is a warm and welcoming place to come and worship, with regular services during the week, and other activities besides.
