The vicar, Canon Angela Dick said "As a church family, here at Christ Church, we are all delighted to have won the 2020 Nayler Award for Excellence in Church Maintenance. Together we have all worked hard over the years to take care of our building so that we can be a beacon of hope in the heart of our community. I’m grateful for the dedication and commitment of our Churchwardens, the PCC, the whole church family and members of our community in Sowerby Bridge. Most of all we are thankful to God for being faithful to us as we always seek to put Him at the centre of our plans."
