About Us
Holy Nativity serves a large estate on the outskirts of Halifax and everyone is made welcome.
Our facilities are modern allowing for a wide range of events. Regular Sunday services are usually communion at which people come together to share bread and wine. The music at Sunday morning services is usually led with a guitar. Each month we host The Rock Mass with the band Metanoia, a service for people who love it loud.
Holy Nativity supports various charities and has close links with the village of Guta in the Diocese of Mara (Tanzania).
As Holy Nativity is a multi-purpose building, there are many additional events hosted here. Once a fortnight the church runs a lunch for the elderly and disabled. Each week there is a Parents and Toddlers group. We also host the Police Forum and Mixenden Tenants & Residents' Association, on a regular basis.
The church has close links with Ash Green Primary School.
