Each Wednesday in term time St Mary's Church leads an act of Collective Worship for the children and staff at Bulwell St Mary's Church of England Primary School.

A quiet, simple, said Eucharist, themed around our Patron Saint, St Mary the Virgin. Vestments are worn and there is a brief homily. We meet in the Lady Chapel (N. aisle). An Order of Service is attached.

Each month St Mary's visits friends in one of our local care homes for an uplifting Service of Holy Communion with favourite hymns, Bible reading, talk and prayers. An Order of Service can be downloaded here.

Our Bible Study is at 2pm Thursdays in the Upper Hall (in church). We will be looking at aspects of the Christian faith; why they matter and why they make a difference to our lives. No pressure. No charge. An opportunity to watch a short talk over tea and coffee, and a discussion at the end where folk can share their thoughts. Each session stands alone, so you can come and go as you like.

Can you make a tuneful noise, or wish that you could? Then why not come along to St Mary's choir practice 6.30pm in church on Friday evenings - you will be made very welcome. St Mary's choir sing at our 10am Masses, and other services, and also at weddings and funerals.

A family orientated Service for all ages, including our wonderful Uniformed Organisations, with hymns, choruses (and often a baptism or two!). Informal time for socialising at the William Peveril (Wetherspoons) pub in Bulwell, meeting up from 7:30pm. A simple time for folk to meet and mingle. Everyone is welcome and you can invite family or friends.

St Mary's is open for quiet prayer and reflection every second Saturday of the month,10am – 12.00pm, beginning with Terce (mid-morning prayer) at 10am, and concluding with the Rosary at 11am. All are welcome to come and recharge their spiritual batteries!
