Each Wednesday in term time St Mary's Church leads an act of Collective Worship for the children and staff at Bulwell St Mary's Church of England Primary School.

A quiet, simple, said Eucharist, themed around our Patron Saint, St Mary the Virgin. Vestments are worn and there is a brief homily. We meet in the Lady Chapel (N. aisle). An Order of Service is attached.

Each month St Mary's visits friends in one of our local care homes for an uplifting Service of Holy Communion with favourite hymns, Bible reading, talk and prayers. An Order of Service can be downloaded here.

Our Bible Study is at 2pm Thursdays in the Upper Hall (in church). We will be looking at aspects of the Christian faith; why they matter and why they make a difference to our lives. No pressure. No charge. An opportunity to watch a short talk over tea and coffee, and a discussion at the end where folk can share their thoughts. Each session stands alone, so you can come and go as you like.

Uplifting sung Eucharist with music and vestments. Occasional use of incense. Our Whiz Kids Sunday School is available for children aged 5-11(ish) with arts and crafts. The Order of Service can be downloaded below. Service will also be live streamed via our YouTube channel

Informal time for socialising at the William Peveril (Wetherspoons) pub in Bulwell, meeting up from 7:30pm. A simple time for folk to meet and mingle. Everyone is welcome and you can invite family or friends.

A family orientated Service for all ages, including our wonderful Uniformed Organisations, with hymns, choruses (and often a baptism or two!). St Mary's is open for prayer every second Saturday of the month at 10 a.m. for 2 hours. Terce (mid-morning prayer) is said at 10am, followed by a time for quiet contemplation, including Adoration Before the Blessed Sacrament. Our time of prayer concludes with us praying the Rosary at 11am and praying the Angelus together . All are welcome to come and recharge their spiritual batteries!

A moving, covid-safe Eucharist with Anointing and Prayers for Healing and Wholeness. Choir, Organ and Vestments. Occasional use of incense. Our Whiz Kids Sunday School is available for children aged 5-11(ish) with arts and crafts. The opportunity for prayer ministry is available after the service, as are refreshments.
