As of Friday 6th June, when the final site meeting was held with the Alfie Spencer from the main contractors Pinnacle, Jess Rudman and Phill Kicks representing St John’s. and Carl Andrews our Architect.

The First discussion related to the Capping Stone and Cross. Which is installed and now finished after modification of plan as previously agreed.

Work on the south roof is completed including the guttering. It was found that the brackets for supporting the guttering were incorrect shape and will be replaced this work is minor and can be done from ladders. Scaffolding is now removed, and site tidy up is ongoing ½ days’ work. Completion certificate was issued 16th June.

Work on the North Roof is almost complete, guttering installed correct brackets fitted. All cracked slates have been replaced and a debris clear down. Approximately 1 ½ days’ work. Once these items are completed, we should receive a completion certificate on 21st June. It is planned that scaffolding will start to be removed from the North side on the 17th June it is expected to take a week Full site clearance to be by the 24th June.

A discussion held with Sarah ref Professional fees and our proposal was submitted and we are awaiting her reply. The approval was received and along with all the invoices was forwarded to Anne to submit the claim. Once the fees are refunded, the money will be placed in the roof fund which is a restricted fund.

We have also submitted the retention request for the South roof. Again, once refunded will be put in the Main church account and be restricted.

The next major milestones

Final Sign off 21st June.

Close all faculties

All scaffolding removed and clear site 24th June.

Claim retention fees from NLHF (South already done North to be done)

Pay final bills.
