For the last 24 years The Church in Wheatley has run a Christmas Greeting scheme. Residents, instead of sending cards, exchange Christmas Greetings with local family and friends in a village Christmas card which we deliver to every house in the village. In return they give a donation to the Bassetlaw Hospice. Over the last 24 years a total of £34,725 has been raised for the Hospice.We plan to repeat the scheme this year.It’s a very easy way of helping the local Hospice and they always need our support.Donors may increase their donation through the Gift Aid scheme.We will shortly be circulating details to everyone who took part last yearNew participants are very welcome.
