In 2004 the nave of St Bartholomew's church was converted into the Bill Hemsley Community Centre, providing an excellent community space for events, parties, meetings, clubs and other social activities. It has a well equipped kitchen and toilet facilities.

By virtue of the fact that the church and village hall are under one roof we can offer a unique venue for your life events. The village hall is ideal for parties, wakes and receptions, with guests having to go no further than the next room after your church service.

The centre is licensed for up to 120 people and will accommodate that amount with room to spare. There are comfortable stacking chairs and ample tables for use as part of the centre rental fee, along with a fully equipped kitchen with all the place settings you might need.
