The choir sings on second and fourth Sundays at the 10.30am service and for special occasions. We always welcome new members. If you have a passion for singing contact, please contact us and our choir master will happily contact you.

We will be gathering together as Blidworth and Rainworth for one Holy Communion service at 10.30am when we will explore the refreshed Diocesan Vision and hold the annual meetings when church council members and officers are elected to the church councils. All welcome.

Today we will light our 1st Advent candle, listen to Bible readings and singing Advent carols as we reflect upon the season of Advent and share in Holy Communion. All welcome, we'd love to see you!

We are very excited about our Christmas Tree Festival and alongside this, we will have a Christmas market and the stalls will include fabulous raffle, tombola, Christmas baking, Children's stall as well as coffee and mince pies and even bacon and sausage cobs! Will be wonderful and we'd love to see you.

This service begins outside, weather permitting, with the first part of the carol service around a fire pit and ends with the switching on of the outdoor Christmas tree lights. We then move inside for the second part of the carol service with the Tree of Memories when you have an opportunity to put a Christmas bauble on our indoor Christmas Tree in memory of a loved one you see on longer. We realise, that for various reasons, not everyone is able to come into our church buildings so we don't want you to miss out in singling some of your favourite Christmas carols and hearing the Christmas story. Remembering those we love but see no longer. An opportunity to name them before God, light a candle remembering the light that they shone in the world around us and how it changed our lives; a time for reflection and prayer.
