Our annual family friendly Christingle service will be on Sunday 8th December at 4pm. Come along and find out the meaning of the Christingle while supporting the invaluable work of the Children’s Society. A great way to set your Christmas on the right track!

The annual Lantern Walk will start at the War Memorial in Pleasley Vale, wind it’s way through the village and finish with a short service of carols and readings outside St Chads. Why not wrap up warm, bring your own lantern and join us?

Grab your woolly hats, scarves and gloves and come along with a lantern or torch to St Edmund’s for a great time of singing carols old and new together outside in the church garden by the South Porch.
FREE hot chocolate, mince pies and other Christmas treats will be served inside church afterwards with a chance to see the church decorated for Christmas.

Our fun-filled, family friendly, interactive Christmas Eve Crib Service St Edmund’s is a great way to take a breather from the hustle and bustle of Christmas preparations to take time to remember the true story of Christmas. The young and young at heart are welcome to join in the fun. Come along dressed as a nativity character or borrow one of ours (and find out what the vicar, Andrew, will come dressed as this year!)

11.30pm on Christmas Eve marks our annual service of Midnight Mass in St Edmund’s.
An offering will be taken during the service in aid of the work of Christian Aid throughout the world.
