Safeguarding

The parish of Blidworth is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and vulnerable adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). The Diocese of Southwell & Nottingham’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Team who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child, young person, or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the Diocesan Safeguarding Team. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and the local authority's Children and Adult Services.

Ensuring that children, young people and vulnerable adults are kept safe whilst in our care is an integral part of our church life. If you have any safeguarding concerns, please contact:
In the Parish: the Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO) - Mrs Clare Harris - email: [email protected] tel: 01623797952.
