The Church is currently closed but the intention is to hold occasional services, once a new vicar has been appointed. Currently, there are no churchwardens and no Parochial Church Council so services are not possible.
The Diocese is aware of the difficult season that church communities have faced in these past months and is therefore especially grateful for the extra care extended to Walkeringham parish from neighbouring churches. The Archdeacon of Newark looks forward to discerning the opportunities for new ministry and relationship between the church and its community and welcomes local support in this.
Look out for announcements about the appointment of a new vicar in due course. For the full story, see the News & Notices section.
Meanwhile, Walkeringham residents are very welcome at services at any of our other churches across the Oswaldbeck Benefice (Beckingham, Clayworth, Gringley, Misterton, and West Stockwith).

CORONAVIRUS UPDATE
All Coronavirus restrictions are now lifted – at the churches where it is administered, Holy Communion is served in two kinds: either the wafer on its own or wafer with the common cup. Some people choose to wear a face covering – it is entirely a matter of choice. Holy Communion is now administered at the altar rail.
