About Us
St Helena’s is a small very historic church building. The present church building dates from Norman times, but has links with the Austerfield Synod of 702AD. Later, William Bradford, the first governor of Massachusetts was baptised here.
A small congregation now meets on the fifth Sunday in a month at 11.15am and for a said Holy Communion at 8.30 am on the third Sunday in every month. The church is closely linked with St Nicholas Bawtry.
