St Stephen's, Sulby is situated on Sulby Straight and is part of the Parish of the Parish of The Northern Plain
[St Mary de Ballaugh | Ballaugh Old Church | St Andrew, Andreas | St Patrick, Jurby | St Stephen, Sulby.]

The original church of St. Stephen's was built in 1838 under Bishop Ward. Its design was unique in that it was one of the first dual purpose built churches which incorporated a school room in the same structure to ensure that children in rural areas could access to schooling.
A complete rebuilding was undertaken in 1858 when the nave was extended and the school room became the church hall. Extensive renovations took place in 1975-96 and an ongoing steady programme of maintenance and renewal has ensured the continuance of this attractive and well maintained church that we enjoy today.

With a seating capacity of 100 it is an appropriate size for the village community and all visitors are welcome.
There is on-street parking on Sulby Straight outside the church.
