About Us
Built in 1837 the present building is probably the fourth church to be built on the site in the centre of a rural village. The churchman-ship is traditional / evangelical with the majority of church members holding a bus pass ! Many activities and events are organised and run by core of dedicated workers determined to see the Parish Church as being a beacon in the community. Our normal Sunday average attendance is about 30 - 45 persons which can increase to over 300 for a funeral !
See website michaelparishchurch.com and Facebook page Michael Parish Church Isle of Man for other news.
We are committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Sodor and Man’s safeguarding pages contain links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police or the Isle of Man Government's Safeguarding Board - see below
