A course for beginners of any age, any faith, or none. On Tues 4th, Wed 5th and Thurs 6th Feb . 7.30-9.00pm at Dalby Hub. Meditation is a practice of profound simplicity which can open the door which leads us home. It can reduce stress, anxiety and fear, and increase our ability to understand ourselves and our world. The course will consist of three consecutive evening sessions at Dalby Hub with an optional concluding session with the WCCM Meditation group on Thurs 13th Feb in Dalby schoolroom. There’s no fee, but donations to cover rental charges are very much appreciated.

Dalby Films in the Evening

Everyone is welcome to our film evenings. There is no need to book, just come along and join us. No admission, but we do need donations to help us cover our costs. Refreshments are provided, but feel free to bring your own wine or beer if you want.

The 'Practicing the Way' Course

Starting on Mon Feb 10th and for the following 8 weeks , Dalby Church will be running a course based on John Mark Comer’s book. “Practicing the Way.” The course looks at how we can be apprentices of Jesus ,spending time with him, becoming like him and doing the things he did. Each week there is a video presentation and time to discuss and share thoughts together , as well as practices to work on individually throughout the week. . We hope you’ll be able to join us. 7.30-9.30 pm Monday evenings at Dalby.

Mums and Tots, Grannies, Dads and toddlers meet in Dalby schoolrooms on the second and fourth Wednesday in the month. We offer you time for a natter around the wood burner, and we have toys, play dough, crafty things, and snacks for the kids followed by action songs . . . and wonderful Fairtrade filter coffee or tea and homemade flapjacks for adults!

​It’s a laid back, relaxed, friendly sort of group and you’re always welcome.
Dalby Ducklings is run entirely by volunteers, so we're very grateful for donations to help us cover our costs.

Our annual Snowdrop Afternoon Tea is coming up soon . . .
Taking place in the Schoolrooms on Sunday 16th February from 3:00pm, tickets are now available @ £15.00 per person.

There will be a selection of homemade sandwiches, cakes, meringues and cream scones, so come hungry!

Please book in advance by ringing Gilly on 844031 and let us know if you require a gluten free or Vegetarian alternative. (A request: please ring the “booking office” between 10am & 6pm, thanks.)

If you’re planning to come with friends, please book as a group, so that you can be seated together.

After costs, all proceeds go to Dalby Church Restoration Fund & our two charities for 2025: IoM Motor Neuron Association & Hands of Hope, a Manx charity working in Romania supporting refugees from Ukraine.

Taizé Worship

Candlelit Service in the Church. Taize worship is distinctive through its use of candlelight, repeated prayer chants,
and periods of stillness and silence. Followed by refreshments in the schoolrooms.
