St Catherine's Church will be closed for the next couple of months while we make some big improvements inside. New comfortable chairs to replace the hard pews. New environmentally friendly heating system and lights. New AV system with big screen and WiFi. New glazed door and porch to let the light in. New carpeted floor. We look forward to welcoming everybody back to our 'new' church before Christmas.While the church itself is closed, services will continue as normal, but in the church hall next door. Come and join us, All welcome.
A big thank you to everyone who donated to the Christian Aid 2024 appeal and to all our collectors. Together, we have raised over £1,100 towards the Pigeon Peas project in Malawi, helping poor farmers grow a a new crop which is both profitable for them and resilient to the effects of climate change.The last few donations are still coming in which will take the total even higher. We are also planning to hold a Ceilidh at the Living Hope Community Church on Wednesday 5th June to raise money for the appeal.
