We have been making great improvements at St Marys to enhance our worship, make our building more accessible and environmentally friendly. The church re-opened on Saturday 5th August for the community and congregation to see the work. The first service back in St Marys was on 6th August.

The work included:  Removing the pews from the back of church to provide a flexible space for meetings, youth work and other purposes, adding a small kitchen to better serve refreshments after the service, leveling the floor and adding a ramp to the main door (expected very soon) to give wheelchair access from the street right to the chancel steps, adding new electric heaters to reduce our carbon footprint and building an outside store to safely store chairs and tables etc to leave us more space inside the church.
