There will be a service of Compline (Night Prayer) each Wednesday evening during Lent, beginning on March 1st. Compline is a service of quietness and reflection before rest at the end of the day. It is most effective when people enter and leave the church in silence. We very much hope that as many people as possible will join us this prayerful observation of Lent.

St Peter's, Cregneish

St Peter's church is located at the heart of the historic Manx village of Cregneish and is attended by a faithful congregation. From the church there are stunning views to the Calf of Man. The church is open daily during the summer months so that visitors to the village can appreciate the beauty and the stillness of the church. Regular Sunday services are held at 3:15pm.

Safeguarding

The parish of Rushen is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Sodor and Man’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
