After a thorough appointment process the Bishop of Sheffield is pleased to announce the appointment of the Revd Chris Herbert as Rector of the Benefice of Tankersley, Thurgoland and Wortley and Oversight Minister in the T1 Mission Area.

Chris is currently Priest in Charge of the Benefice of Burghwallis and Campsall as well as Safeguarding Training Officer in the Diocese of Sheffield. We look forward to welcoming Chris and his wife Christine as they seek to make the move into the benefice in the near future and we aim to licence Chris sometime around April 2024.
