Today the Church recalls the triumphant entrance of Christ the Lord into Jerusalem to accomplish his paschal mystery. Jesus enters Jerusalem to die on the cross, his royal throne.
We will gather nearby and the initial gospel from St. Matthew will be read, branches (palm crosses) will be sprinkled with holy water and there will be a short procession to the parish church for the Mass.
Please join us for this event that marks the beginning of Holy Week.

You are very welcome at all of our services and events either here at St. Luke's or at the parish church of St. Leonard and St. Jude, Barnsley Road, Scawsby. St. Luke's is what we call our daughter church, a place of mission and we hope a place to grow the Christian faith in Scawthorpe.
