The meeting will be held after the main parish Mass and opens with the Annual Vestry Meeting when the Churchwardens for the coming year will be elected. Following this the business will include the presentation of the new or revised electoral roll, the election of Deanery Synod representatives, the election of Church Council members, the annual report on the proceedings of the Church Council, the annual report on the financial affairs of the Church Council, a report on the goods and ornaments of the churches, a report on the fabric of the churches and the church hall, a report on the proceedings of the Deanery Synod and the Parish Priest's report.
Those entitled to vote at the vestry meeting are the residents of the ecclesiastical parish of S.S. Leonard & Jude, Scawsby with S. Luke's, Scawthorpe whose names are on the secular electoral roll together with those whose names appear on the new or revised electoral roll of the parish. After the Vestry Meeting those entitled to vote are those whose names appear on the new or revised ecclesiastical roll of the parish.
