Welcome to anyone who has taken the trouble to look us up. You are very welcome at all of our services and events either here at St. Luke's or at the parish church of St. Leonard and St. Jude, Barnsley Road, Scawsby. St. Luke's is what we call our daughter church, a place of mission and we hope a place to grow the Christian faith in Scawthorpe.

Safeguarding

Our parish of St. Leonard and St. Jude, Scawsby with St. Luke's Scawthorpe is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and vulnerable adults. We follow the House of Bishop's guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer whose contact details can be found on on our website https://www.stleonardscawsby.co.uk. The Diocese of Sheffield has dedicated safeguarding pages on its website, including contact details for the Diocesan Safeguarding team who will advise our Parish Safeguarding Officer. If you have concerns that a child, young person or vulnerable adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the Diocesan Safeguarding team. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the Police and your local authority Children's or Adult Services.
