Choosing 'pre loved' clothes is kinder to our planet. It saves water, carbon emissions and energy. Plus, it reduces landfill waste. Please tell neighbours and friends about our school uniform bank and encourage them to consider a 'nearly new' option before buying.

From jumpers to ties, blouses to PE kit, we stock quality items. And give them away free. Please phone or email if you want to ask about sizes etc in advance of a visit. Contact Helen on [email protected] or 07512867160
NB. Closed 25th Dec. Re-opens NYD 1st Jan 2026.

On the 1st and 3rd Sundays, we celebrate communion using the Book of Common Prayer (BCP). Other Sundays are based on Morning Prayer. Every week, we also reflect on the bible passage together.

A family friendly service suitable for any age and stage of life. Our time with God and each other is uplifting and interactive. We have play bags and toys available for younger visitors. We celebrate communion on every 1st and 3rd Sunday.

At our School Uniform Bank, we have lots of children’s coats keeping our clothing rails warm.
But they could be keeping children warm! Pls help a quality, pre-loved FREE coat find its new home and purpose.

Why? We're an Eco Church - God's given us a big heart for both people and planet. Food shopping costs more, gas and electric is at a record high. We want to help families' budgets go further, and stop perfectly good items going to landfill. Please help us tell your neighbours and friends.
(Can't make the date? Pls get in touch).

Delicious range of cakes and savoury treats as ever on offer to help us raise money for a good cause. Snowdrop is a South Yorks charity which supports survivors of modern day slavery and exploitation to recover from their past and rebuild their futures.

We gather to mark this occasion at St Peter's Church. Our service starts at 10.10am.
During the last hymn, the 1384 (Askern) Squadron Air Cadets and 19th Doncaster (Askern) Scouts, Cubs and Beavers will lead us down to the Cenotaph/Askern Memorial (Alexander House) - where our service continues at 10.40am and includes the 2 minute silence at 11am and laying of wreaths. Everyone is welcome to stay on afterward for refreshments provided by Askern Town Council.

Lots of lovely stalls. Handcrafted gifts. Proceeds from our home made refreshments, tombola and more to our Church Heating Replacement Fund.
