Christ Church

Christ Church is the church for the parish of Ardsley – serving the communities in Ardsley, Stairfoot, Hoyle Mill and Aldham, in Barnsley South Yorkshire and is part of the Church of England in the Diocese of Sheffield. We are also part of a group of parishes committed to supporting each other in sharing God’s love – the Wath2 Mission Area. We are committed to discovering more about God, Jesus and how this impacts on our own lives. We are keen to learn more about how to shine His Light into the world around us.

Come just as you are. You are welcome at any of our services or activities, whether you are already a Christian or just wanting to find out more. And if you’d like any further information feel free to contact us, or simply come along!

Safeguarding

"Our parish of Ardsley: Christ Church is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Sheffield’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO, Dr Roland Kouble. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
