We warmly invite you to join us, as we celebrate 90 years of St Mary's Church supporting our local community through times of love, joy, pain, thanksgiving, and a loved ones farewell. 💖

With the stunning swan piece, by world renowned Byron Howard, in memory of the Hatfield Main Colliery, 1939 Miners Cage Crash, located in our memorial area of church. Byron being a local lad, wanted to leave the community with a piece to treasure. Which we and many others do.

Amazing displays from the History Society, the local Pete Dumville, the history of St Mary's from the first day we opened on 14th March 1934. With areas of Memorabilia from past services and events, 71st Girl Guides and Brownies, Gala Days, Musical events and the charities we have supported over the decades.
Let us know you are attending with a thumbs up 👍

Safeguarding

Our parish of Stainforth: St Mary is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Sheffield’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO.

If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO Jenny Robinson on 07879 816300. Alternatively you can contact PSO support worker Revd. Jacqui via St Mary's Facebook Messenger.
For the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor contact [email protected].

If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
