About Us

Whiston Parish Church has been serving God and His people of Whiston and Upper Whiston for 800 years. It has been described as a 'hidden gem' of Rotherham because of its beautiful setting. All who visit  talk of the  warm and joy filled welcome that they receive. The Church is a place of prayer,a place of worship,a place of Christian friendship and fellowship. We welcome all with open arms and with Gods unconditional love. As a Church family in Whiston we aim to play an active and full part  in the Sheffield Diocesan vision 'to grow a sustainable network of Christ-like, lively and diverse Christian communities in every place which are effective in making disciples and in seeking to transform our society and God’s world.'
